With all of the high profile media generated by BLOODHOUND lately, a lot of attention has been focussed on the team. All of a sudden, I have become inundated with questions about how I ended up with a placement with such a prestigious project. Rather than answer all of the emails, comments and tweets individually (and reduce the amount of design work I am doing even further), I have decided to write about how I ended up here with the BLOODHOUND team and what I would suggest to the rest of you possible-industrial-placement students.

 
 

Even though I now have my placement for next year, there are many product designers (and indeed other creative individuals) out there who are still searching. It is easy to get sucked into the word processed world of Times New Roman taster pages, but luckily this doesn’t have to be the case. There is plenty of inspiration out there on how to make your work stand out from the crowd… Here is just a taster of the tasters…

 
 

As the end of my second year at University is fast approaching, I have decided to write a very quick post to explain what is happening in my life at present. Hopefully any design students or future students shall be able to see what I am doing, and just how much chaos there is in the world of product design…
