I had always seen the Core77 1 hour design challenges as something to take inspiration from, but now that I am really pushing to improve my sketch ability, I figured it would be a great way to practice. So, here we have this month’s entry. Time: 59 mins, plus a few extra minutes to add the colour to the thumbnail page. Hopefully, there should be a regular flow of these each month from now on..

Following the media storm last week on the fitting of Andy Green into his cockpit, various stories have appeared across the web varying from how we fitted the ergonomic rig around the land speed record holder to how a few of us ‘engineering students’ have designed the entire car.

Finally though, after sending some links through to various blogs, some of the design magazines have started to find the story, and seem to be pretty accurate. I am just happy that I am quoted. Pictures aren’t too bad either.
