Wow, well… this is an honour. To my great surprise this morning I was informed by a colleague that not only had one of my renderings of BLOODHOUND made it onto the PistonHeads website, but has been named ”Pic of the week‘.
The ‘BLOODHOUND gets Nekkid‘ image was produced as part of a series for BLOODHOUND posters, wallpapers etc. Using the Vray rendering software and a custom lighting setup, the exterior surface of the car was rendered in various colours of tinted glass. This gave the unusual effect of allowing people to see the internals, but also warping them and distorting them to maintain an air of mystery about the final layout.
There are plenty more images of BLOODHOUND yet to come, including exterior and internal views of the car, but for now I shall leave you with a few screenshots of the Vray setup and some of the other images that have come from this…
